We have created a guide designed to help you gain a deeper understanding of your condition and find solutions to make daily life with endometriosis easier.
Endometriosis is a progressive gynaecological disorder in which tissue resembling the womb lining grows in areas outside of the uterus, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Endometriosis is common, affecting 1 in 10 women of reproductive age in the UK.
Depending on the severity of the condition, endometriosis can increase your risk of having difficulty getting pregnant. It is estimated that 30 – 50% of women with endometriosis will experience fertility problems.
During this special event, Dr Mireia Galian, Consultant Gynaecologist at IVI London, explains how endometriosis affects the reproductive organs and can impact fertility. She also offers a detailed overview of the different treatment options to help endometriosis-related infertility.
