Pre-treatment fertility assessments for female same-sex couples
The MUMS² Diagnostic Pack is a series of pre-treatment medical assessments designed to help you understand your fertility options as a lesbian couple and help you make important decisions about fertility treatment. During your first visit to the clinic, we will guide you through the first steps so that you feel informed, comfortable and safe.
Our medical team will perform a routine medical assessment, assess your medical history and discuss the different treatment options available.
We will perform gynaecological examinations and ultrasounds for both you and your partner which allow us to analyse the uterus and ovaries.
Ovarian reserve tests determine how many oocytes (eggs) you have, and their quality. We measure the ovarian reserve for each partner using a simple blood test, known as an Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) test.
Once our specialists have performed all the necessary assessments, they will recommend a personalised treatment plan that gives you and your partner the best possible chance of starting a family.
