In our price list, you will find a complete list of our fees. This allows you to accurately calculate an estimate cost of treatment before you visit IVI, with no hidden surprises later on.
Treatment Investigations, blood tests and medication can vary from patient to patient. That is why we must charge these separately. After your first consultation, you will be provided with a personalised treatment quotation which includes a costed breakdown of your treatment from start to finish. For investigations, additional blood tests and medication, we recommend you budget between £ 1,000 – £ 2,000 in addition to the cost of the package.
The Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority (HFEA) issues guidance to help patients understand treatments or services which may be offered by a fertility clinic in addition to a routine fertility treatment. These are known as treatment add-ons.
At IVI, we offer additional treatments and services to specific groups of patients which they have the option to integrate into a routine fertility treatment. When considering the cost of IVF in London, it’s important to understand that these additional treatments are only recommended based on a patient’s personal circumstances, such as their medical history. We will never recommend an additional treatment or service to any patient without clinical evidence that it improves the likelihood of successful pregnancy or live birth. Where an additional treatment or service is recommended by a consultant, it will be explained in detail so that the patient has all the information they need to make an informed decision.
When you book an appointment, we reserve time for you and expect that you will attend at the date and time agreed with your consultant. When you fail to attend an appointment, it can cause unnecessary disruption for our clinic and lead to delays.
For this reason, we require full payment at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This payment confirms your intention to attend.
If you change your mind or a conflicting commitment prevents you from attending, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least three working days’ notice so we can allocate your slot to another patient. Whether your appointment relates to a consultation, treatment, or embryo freezing, if an appointment is cancelled less than three working days before it is scheduled to take place, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Once your initial consultation has taken place and any required pre-treatment tests have been completed, your fertility consultant will design a personalised treatment plan. In many cases, treatment can begin with your next menstrual cycle, but this can vary depending on your test results, medical history, and personal circumstances. Your consultant will explain the timeline in detail so you know exactly what to expect.
There are several ways to cover the cost of IVF treatment. Some patients may be eligible for NHS-funded IVF if they meet the local eligibility criteria. For self-funded treatment, options include using savings, private health insurance (where applicable), or choosing a fertility finance provider to spread the cost. We will be happy to discuss these options with you during your consultation.
When booking your initial consultation, a £100 deposit is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from the final consultation fee, with the remaining balance payable on the day. We accept most credit and debit cards (excluding American Express and Diners), bank transfers, sterling cheques, and cash (up to £2,000).
Every patient’s journey is unique, and your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs. This means that some tests, medications, or additional procedures may vary from patient to patient. By pricing these separately, we ensure you only pay for the care you actually need.
