Dr. Nikolaos Blontzos is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in gynaecology and fertility clinics in both Greece and the UK. He specializes in managing infertility and fertility preservation for a diverse range of patients, including heterosexual and same-sex couples, single women, transgender individuals, and oncology patients. His expertise encompasses a variety of fertility-related procedures, such as egg collection, embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and hysteroscopies. He is accredited by the British Fertility Society in several areas, including pelvic ultrasound, management of infertility, assisted conception, embryo transfer and IUI, male infertility, and fertility preservation. Additionally, he is certified by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology to perform both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopies. Dr. Blontzos is dedicated to providing individualized care and supporting his patients in building their families.

His academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Reproductive and Regenerative Medicine and he is currently in the third year of his PhD research focusing on the pathophysiology of endometriosis. He has lectured for four years in the Department of Midwifery at Aegean Omiros College in Athens, which is validated by Coventry University, and has led the module “Technology in Midwifery Practice.” He has presented at various European and international gynaecological conferences and is an active member of several scientific societies, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), the British Fertility Society (BFS), the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), the European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy (ESGE), and the Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SEUD).
